I'm working on a new pattern for myself, but since the base sheet is blue, I'm trying to figure out the best way to translate colors. By which I mean, my character is yellow, so I have no idea how the pattern would look on a yellow character until it is actually applied. (Unless there's some way to test this that I'm totally missing.)
I've added the type of coloration I'm aiming for as an attachment, but in case it doesn't load right, here's a link;

(The wings will likely be translated to a wing-like marking on the final pattern)

You could just draw it in your actual colours, and once you're done, you can either:

- change the hue until the bulk of the fur is in the shade of blue that the original files are in (that way your pattern stays dyeable)
- state (when submitting the pattern) that you want exactly those colours and don't care about dying (then it stays exactly like you submitted it).
