on my pet poll, it let me choose all of the answers and let me submit.

You set "Maximum votes per user" to 2. Since there are two options, it let you select both of them.

Set "Maximum votes per user" to 1 to avoid this. :3

oh by "Maximum votes" i thought it meant the number of times you could vote. That really needs to be more specific.

Dunno, for me it kinda made sense. I can edit it in the template file, but for me "maximum votes per user" wasn't really ambiguous. It tells you how often each user can vote. If you set it to "2", they can vote twice: one time for the first option, and one time for the second option. ;P
