Title: Help in Saliko Creek?

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to this game, I'm currently in this West of Saliko Creek, And I need help with a quest called "Call It Science" from Farmer Jack, I understand that I need to collect Skin Patches to complete the quest, But I'm still confused on what they look like and where I can find them, If anyone can help me on how to do this quest, I would gladly appreciate it, Thanks. :D

The discolored skin drop from the speckled caterpillars in that area. Just scroll over to the monsters to see what they're called, xD
