I clicked Battle stance and bye bye went grace. Not sure if it was the silly timmer or a bug which bit grace. around 5:41pm 9/4/2011

Grace reduces the cost of the next spell you cast by 30%. Since switching to Battle Stance is technically a spell, it consumed grace (at no benefit to you, because the spell is cost-free).
While you could argue this may be a bug, I'm actually happy by it getting consumed. I don't want to make stance switching completely cost-free, otherwise you could stay in Defensive Stance to gain fury, want for Grace to proc, and then switch to Battle Stance to get a high-damage Thrash in.
I thought of a few other things to change, actually - for example, switching stances could drain part of your fury, to counteract being in Def. Stance to "collect" fury, and then switching to Off. Stance to use it. Then again, things like these are part of what makes combat interesting, and allows strategies to develop.
Anyhow, I commend you for noticing this little detail, and you are welcome to discuss strategies or possible improvements in General Discussion if you think this should be changed. :3
