Title: Saving Rina
Post by: skylers on August 02, 2011, 01:03:43 am
I am currently trying to save Rina alone (mostly because no one will help me) and she keeps knocking out x_X. I tried to feed her a potion but it made me drink it instead. Can you make Rina potion-feedable?

Yeah, I want to earn the trophy Scaredy Cat really badly. In order to do that, Ineed the spirit thingies to attack me, and I climb up the tree. Rina follows me to fight the spirits, wh chtakes a lot of damage from BOTH of us. So either I die or she dies :T

For one, I'd suggest trying it with more than one person, I'm sure someone would be happy to help XD *cough*me*cough*
Also, priests can already heal her if needed, so you could possibly ask one. Just an idea :P

Some trophies are hard on purpose, so that you have to get others to help you! I kind of want players to play together, since that's the point of an MMO. ;P
If Rina keeps getting knocked out, though - try taking some more damage instead of hers. Attack monsters that attack her, they'll go after you before you know it!

it would make sense to have potions draggable on monsters. Though, there's a ton of things to consider. Does it start the two-minute potion cooldown for you, then? Or on the monster? (which isn't implemented yet) What happens if you drag it on players? Does it start the cooldown on them? (which might lead to players using someone else's cooldown when they didn't want) It is a good idea, but it also feels like it would be a very large change to the game-mechanics.
