Yesterday, any time I opened the game it would either not connect or would crash on the character select and it wasn't my wifi because I was streaming youtube videos just fine. This morning there was a patch and then I restarted the game using the button that pops up, but then the game doesn't start, it's just a black screen with a repair button on a white bar at the top. I opened and closed the game a few times and one time it even said loading and then when back to black. Pushing the repair button doesn't seem to do anything. Please help :(

I can't reproduce that - both, the standalone and the Adobe AIR clients work fine (and repair does repair the game in both instances). You may have internet troubles - make sure that your internet is actually stable enough to download the ~2 MB patch. Also verify that the clock of your computer is set correctly and that you can open an encrypted connection to the site (click here (https://elyssia.pawdgame.com/data/game.swf)).
If all fails, try to reinstall the game client, and see if that works.
