Stir the spores in one of your poison patches, moving them towards the targeted direction. This removes 33% of it's strength for new targets, but extends it's duration by 15 seconds.

Required Class Priest
Skill Branch Toxicology
Available at Level 1
Prerequisites Poison Dust Lv. 1
Range 4 meters
Cooldown 1 second

Skill Usage

A special spell that expands on Poison Dust by allowing the same Poison Dust that you've casted to be relocated to a different spot at a fraction of the mana cost. While moving, the duration of the Poison Dust is extended, and ultimately allows you to refresh stacks of Poison Dust on the enemy at their original strength. One downside to this spell is that you cannot move it in an entirely different location (it can be only relocated by a couple of metres).

This is applicable to boss fights where if the boss you're battling against does not like to utilize minions. This way, you can save some of your mana rather than having to recast the actual spell. If the boss does use minions, a Poison Dust extended by Stir will unlikely be strong enough to take them out.

Like Envenom, Stir will weaken your Poison Dust's strength by 33% against newer targets. Because of this, the spell should be used only when your Poison Dust has already affected multiple targets, not when monsters are just happening to walk right into it.

Notes

  • Stir cannot be used if Poison Dust falls below to less than half of it's strength. This means that a single Poison Dust can only be extended up to two times by Stir.
  • Due to the above note, this also means that a single Poison Dust can last for a maximum of 45 seconds, realistically speaking about 30-40 seconds at best. The first Stir will reduce the overall strength of Poison Dust to 66%, while the second will reduce it down to 33%.
  • If a Poison Dust has already been weakened by the use of Envenom, it can only be extended once with Stir.
