Game client

The Game Client is what you use to register and actually play the game. It is located at http://beta.icyworlds.net/game/.

Prerequisites

The only software you need to have for the game client to work is Adobe Flash Player. These days you can (and should only, due to security reasons) only obtain version 10 anymore, even though it does work fine with version 9 as well.

Since the game is server-based, outgoing connections to TCP port 4900 need to be allowed - which is the case for pretty much all personal firewalls, but may not necessarily work in company networks. If deviantArt Chat works for you, the game should as well.

There are four quality settings that you can in the options menu of the game client. If your game runs slowly, lowering the quality might help. After logging in, you can check your frame rate by hovering the status indicator next to the game menu with your mouse. The maximum frame rate the game runs at is 35 frames per second.
