When fighting another mage, you should consider the following.

* Mages need mana to attack. So it is good to find ways that make your opponent either waste mana, or burn fury. While conserving your mana at the same time
* A mage needs mana to attack- figure out ways that makes them waste there mana or to conserve yours.

* Found out what element your opponent is using ex. (fire-bolt, thunderbolt, etc.)
+
- Warriors hate running targets, or things they can't see. If you have the skills skip or invisibility, use them to your advantage!
* Depending on there element, find out what spells they know; and what order they use them in. For example do they know [[Flash Freeze]] and [[Thunderbolt]]; or [[Embers]] and [[Ignite]]. Do they know mana shield? If they do plan your attacks around that, try to drain there mana as fast as possible, and as quick as you can before they realize what you're doing. Do they know [[Disrupt Magic]]? If they do watch them very closely when you are casting spells, you don't want to be disrupted!
+
- If they can't move, you can't be hit. Flash Freeze and slow down your opponent for a maximum of eight seconds, so if you're low on health, use it and abuse it, then run away!
* One of the most important things to know about being a mage is that in order to win you have to know your opponent, you have to know there spells, how they use them and how to counteract there spells. You have to know what strategy works for each mage, for one strategy wont work for all of them!
+
- Push them away! Use the knockback from Thunderbolt and FireWall to keep them away from you.

* Found out what element your opponent is usingex. Fire Element Spells, Water Element Spells, etc.

* Depending on their element, find out what spells and skills they know and use this to your advantage.

 +
- Other mages often use Mana Shield to conserve health and avoid damage, yet it drains mana. So attack! This burns their mana quickly and leaves them open to damage.
 +
- While warriors have devastating physical strength, its important to know if you're facing a tank or a DPS warrior.
 +
    - If facing a DPS warrior, run away and use knock-back skills and freeze to keep them from landing hits on you. They need to be able to land solid hits to gain fury, so if they can't touch you, they can't deal very much damage.
 +
    - If facing a Tank, avoid dealing damage and try to stall until your team can assist you. They gain extra fury from being attacked and will be able to deal damage if you hit them.
 +
- Damage priests often have a wide range of skills that prevents them from having elemental weaknesses. Its best to simply deal as much damage as possible to kill them quickly
 +
- Avoid other mages with the skill disrupt magic. They can smite your casts and leave you silenced.
 +

 +
* Remember to use elements to your advantage! Enchanted wind, water, earth, and fire potions can help block the damage from other mages and warriors with elemental gloves or enchantments. The less damage they deal to you, the more damage you deal to them!

Mage battle tactics-advanced

Being a mage requires skill and power, in this tutorial i will explain the more advanced things to consider while fighting in Pvp. The first part of the tutorial will explain what you should do when you are fighting another mage.

-Things to consider while fighting-

  • Mages need mana to attack. So it is good to find ways that make your opponent either waste mana, or burn fury. While conserving your mana at the same time
- Warriors hate running targets, or things they can't see. If you have the skills skip or invisibility, use them to your advantage!
- If they can't move, you can't be hit. Flash Freeze and slow down your opponent for a maximum of eight seconds, so if you're low on health, use it and abuse it, then run away!
- Push them away! Use the knockback from Thunderbolt and FireWall to keep them away from you.
  • Found out what element your opponent is using. ex. Fire Element Spells, Water Element Spells, etc.
  • Depending on their element, find out what spells and skills they know and use this to your advantage.
- Other mages often use Mana Shield to conserve health and avoid damage, yet it drains mana. So attack! This burns their mana quickly and leaves them open to damage.
- While warriors have devastating physical strength, its important to know if you're facing a tank or a DPS warrior.
    - If facing a DPS warrior, run away and use knock-back skills and freeze to keep them from landing hits on you. They need to be able to land solid hits to gain fury, so if they can't touch you, they can't deal very much damage.
    - If facing a Tank, avoid dealing damage and try to stall until your team can assist you. They gain extra fury from being attacked and will be able to deal damage if you hit them.
- Damage priests often have a wide range of skills that prevents them from having elemental weaknesses. Its best to simply deal as much damage as possible to kill them quickly
- Avoid other mages with the skill disrupt magic. They can smite your casts and leave you silenced.
  • Remember to use elements to your advantage! Enchanted wind, water, earth, and fire potions can help block the damage from other mages and warriors with elemental gloves or enchantments. The less damage they deal to you, the more damage you deal to them!
