A "miss" is one of the possible outcomes of attacks and abilities, along with critical strikes and regular hits.

An attack or a spell that misses has no effect: no damage is dealt, and any (de)buffs that the victim would usually receive are not applied either. Players can reduce their chance to miss by increasing their Dexterity stat. Increasing Agility increases the chance that attacks targeted at them will miss.
