A character's name tag is what you see when you hover them with your name. Generally, it will list the following information (if available):

  • Name: The name of the character, such as "Priestess Alyshia" or "Field Bug"
    • The name of a character is colour-coded based on the characters disposition towards you, as well as its status:
  • Level: The level of the character, such as "Level 3".
    • Levels are colour-coded in respect to your own level. You do not get extra experience for beating monsters significantly higher level than you:
      • Red: Out of your league, will need concentrated effort to beat.
      • Orange: Significantly higher level than you, will be a challenge to beat.
      • Yellow: Higher level than you, may be hard to beat at your level.
      • White: Around your level.
      • Grey: Significantly lower level than you, will likely pose no challenge.
  • Race: The race of the character, such as "Insect".
  • Status: Any special status the character has, like "Mini-Boss", "Guardian", "NPC".
  • Combat Information: Whether the character is in combat, and with whom.
