The Battle for Schwartzwald Castle is a king-of-the-hill style battleground, in which two teams try to defend the castle for as long as possible.

Rules

• Two teams compete for Schwartzwald Castle. Any team who manages to break the Ancient Relic deep inside the castle's keep obtains control over the castle.
• Both teams start out with 80 reinforcements.
  • If a team loses all their reinforcements, the other team instantly wins. There are three ways to lose reinforcements:
  • Getting knocked out reduces the reinforcements of that team by 2 (1 if the knocked out player is somewhat lower level).
  • If the castle's relic is destroyed, the team who held the castle before loses between 0 and 10 reinforcements, depending on how many they have left.
  • The attacking team's general - a high level NPC outside the castle, who offers repairs and ammunition - can be killed. During so reduces their reinforcements by 110.
• If a team reaches 110 reinforcements, they instantly win. The one way to gain reinforcements is by holding the castle:
  • Every 45 seconds, the team that currently has control over the castle gains 2 reinforcements.
  • If a team reaches 100 reinforcements, they gain buffs to their attack and health, helping them to prevail.
• Note that if there are fewer than eight players in this battleground, a 15 minute timer starts. Any team who holds the castle when the timer runs out, wins.

Notes

• The Ancient Relic is protected by two series of gates:
  • The Main Courtyard Gate and the Side Gate
  • The Keep Gate
• At least one of the courtyard gates and the keep gate need to be destroyed before the relic is accessible.
• The team that currently holds the castle can click on the runes scattered around in it, to quickly move between the courtyard and the keep.
• If your team destroys the relic, the other team is teleported out of the castle. This gives your team a few seconds to set up a defense.
• The castle doors can be repaired by collecting wood from outside the castle, and using it on the doors.
• The relic itself repairs itself over time as well.

Rewards

Participating in the Battle for Schwartzwald Castle awards Tokens of Honour. The exact amount is based on participation - the winning team can receive up to 50 tokens, whereas anyone the losing team can still receive up to 40 tokens if they did well.

TvT (Team versus Team) can take at least 15 minutes, unless your reinforcements run out! You start out with 80 reinforcements, and every time you, or one of your teammates gets knocked out, your reinforcements go down by 2, which means if your teammates and yourself die 40 times, you lose. It still happens even if there is time left on the clock. The object of TvT is to break the Ancient Relic, and own the castle at the end. In order to get to the relic, you have to break down doors that block your way, and fight other players in order to reach it. Only the strongest of your levels will survive! If you win, you gain 50 Tokens of Honour. With those, you can buy better armor, ingredients, and other helpful things!
