Pretty must subject.

I want to try something other then focus more going paladin. More focusing on physical attacks, tank some hits, and heal.  The thing is the critical rating isn't going up any. Likely I ain't focusing on intellect as must as most priests suppose to do. So does this mean priest can't do physical critical? Only magic crits? Or they just don't simply show that state for priests/mages? Or does it count for both?

Priests and mages can kill monsters that warriors can't (like shooeys in the plains) and priest start out with low heath, Warriors were pretty  much made to keep the monsters on them then the others! But priests can do phyical  attack, but they can't really get other skills (unless they also have a warrior class) that can inprove their phyical critical attacks.

Im not very sure if they can get critical physical attacks, but if you're a priest you should probably be focusing on ranged attacks

also Ancient light, warriors can kill shooeys if they have elemental gloves, or if they used spirit bottles that gave them magic abilities

Priests and mages can get critical physical attacks by auto attacking, but usually their critical is like 30? Its weak so yeah you should stick with ranged attacking. Also, I think its possible to kill shooeys w/o elemental gloves? It just takes a very very.. long long time...

The major problem with melee priest there no way to get the high damage like any other class. Warriors have skills like thrash and bite to bring damage they just don't use melee. Even if you do get this to work there no way you would hold argo if there was a tank in there. The major problem was the game wasn't really made for this to be an option so you are fighting against the game mechanics so it's probably not going to work. Also if you want to heal you wouldn't have a lot of the mana needed to do it. In most dungeons priest or either heal or damage because healing is such an important role you need to focus on that in case you run out of mana to heal with.

They can get critical attacks - the mechanics are the same. But as Leo said, you'll be missing abilities that boost melee - thrash, bite, slash, grace - where all the *high* damage is, along with melee utility abilities such as charge or pounce.

At that rate, you might as well play a warrior and get a spirit bottle with Heal Lv3. XD
