I am often irritated by how the chat bar takes up a lot of space on the screen and I feel like there should be an option to make it slightly transparent like how the list of group members thing is. I find myself having to move the chat bar so much to the point where I sometimes might not even be able to see the messages (off to the side).
So, might you ask, how could you tell that there's a new message? Well, the chat bar could glow a little to tell you that you recieved a new message.
If slight transparency might be too much, scrolling on the chat bar will make it fully visible (not transparent).
