tyvm for this guide, its super helpful

this doesnt have much to do with the guide and more to do with my stupidity.

i completed the lost bluebell quest, got the whistle, used it, got my pet, named it McFluffo, Left that area, And it's gone!

I've tried calling it, Bringing it into combat, etc

nothing works, im quite literally right about to go into saliko village.

I havent completed the gnat dungeon quest yet (because i dont have any friends) and apart from that ive completely cleared the entire game before saliko village, And I want my pet with me on this journey.

How do i get it back i want mcfluffo

sorry im massively noob i dont know anything anymore

E: Something else, I've actually been a bit confused on the herders needed (low level) ((forgot if thats the name)) side quest

the one where you need to give fliffys food?
yeah im confused on how you do that

Using "Call Pet" (or "Revive Pet", in case it died) should always summon it.
If it doesn't, what message are you seeing?

Drop the food items next to them (drag them from your inventory into the grass).

Alright, I tried out the fliffy herding quest again, I drag one of the herbs they like over to where their mouths are, right next to them, Drop it and it says "Please double click this item to use it" I double click it, It shows a loading animation, and nothing happens.

Often it will think I'm discarding the item also.

Oh, to answer that, all you have to do is drop the item, they'll hop over and eat it. Usually the game will think you're attempting to use the item if you drag it on an entity.

So I technically do discard the item and theyll pick up the item?

usually however i put it on the grass it says "This item cannot be equipped or consumed"

"Double click to use this item"

or

Discared the item

No, just drop it.

Yea, if you drop it, they'll pick it up (if they like what you dropped).

usually however i put it on the grass it says "This item cannot be equipped or consumed"

If it says that, then you dragged it on yourself (or double-clicked it).

"Double click to use this item"

If it says that, then you dragged it on an enemy.

Drag it on an empty spot in the grass, and it should be dropped.
