Well, i had defeated Cladt around... 6 minutes before with akia. I was on my mage. And I forgot that dungeonos are instanced, so i had Akia take me back to the village. Then i checked with Janette, and i was able to turn in the quest even though i hadn't fought off Cladt. This was for the second quest in which the player and Akia fight Cladt, not the repeatable one which is the same.
