As a little heads up, with today's reboot the portals in Schwartzwald Castle will be changed slightly. This is to even out the disadvantage an attacking team has - they naturally have to go through the portals to get through the keep, and have to push forward, as the time works against them. At the moment, the defending team precasts spells at the portals, making it impossible to dodge them.

With the reboot, entering portals will protect you for seven seconds - during that time the other team cannot see or attack you, until:
- either the seven seconds are up,
- you leave the portal area (that includes going back out), or
- use any spell or ability, including auto-attack.

Area spells will also not affect you.

This will let the attacking team enter the portal, and give them a few seconds to see what is expecting them, so they can decide who to attack, and what to do next (for example, if an area spell is casted in the area they're standing, they might decide to immediately charge / skip right).

You can only protected once every 20 seconds, if you are on the attacking team, pushing forward. This means that if you run back out, you don't get a protection buff for that. Likewise, the defending team going back into the castle also won't be protected. Finally, if you are in combat, you also do not get the protection buff.

This is perfect actually because it does level the playing field. However i have a question. before a buff was given where damage would be reduced upon entering a portal. Will this buff remain if you move in the first three seconds like before, cancelling the invis buff or is it now a history buff?

The other buff is gone - this is the buff that replaces it.
