How many feathers do you need to get a pet turkey? So far, I have ~50, but how many more do I need?

Each turkey also has a small chance to drop an egg directly.

However, just in case you luck out, collect the feathers. If you collect enough, and trade them to Andy, he'll give you an egg too (tho from experience, most get their egg from the turkeys before gathering enough feathers to please Andy - he is greedy after all).

Now that you have it - you can either save up the feathers you already for a second egg (if you want to give it to someone, or sell it) .. or sell/gift the feathers themselves :D

I saw Andy, but had no star above him or anything like that.. How can I know how many feathers he wants?

It isn't a quest; you just have a feather in your inventory, and click on andy and he would say this-



so yeah

You have to do the quests he offers I think, before you can have a talk with him. You'll find the quest chain when you're in Ashaya.
