There were a three Secret Santas that didn't hand in their gifts in time - these were replaced, as announced in
this topic.
If a Secret Santas has missed handing in their gifts by then, Alyshia will cross them from the list, and assign whoever was their Secret Santa to the person they originally had. This will also forfeit any participation rewards for the person that had to be replaced.
Your Secret Santa was one of them. So the person you were the Secret Santa for wasn't getting Echosong anything. As a result, Alyshia assigned you to Echosong directly, and crossed the other person off her list.
