NPC: Danae

"Ufff, it's sooo hot out here - I'm melting!! Tell you what, the best thing you can do is stay in the shade and eat ice cream all day."

Danae is an NPC in Southern Seas' East Beach. She temporarily relocates to the Everchange Hideout (at the end of the Everchange Caverns, accessed from Radium's Den near the High Plains of Saliko) during the Valentines' events.

Dialogue

At East Beach, before befriending Danae.

• Danae: "Ufff, it's sooo hot out here - I'm melting!! Tell you what, the best thing you can do is stay in the shade and eat ice cream all day."

At East Beach, after befriending Danae.

• Danae: "Ufff, it's sooo hot out here - I'm melting!! Tell you what, the best thing you can do is stay in the shade and eat ice cream all day."
• If you say "How do you like your vacation?":
  • Danae: "Oh, it's grate!! I'm enjoying it lotz, can't you see? The weather is awesum 2 what more do u want? its all just like .. relaaaax and have funnnn :3"

As An Enemy

Danae can be fought as a repeatable event boss at the Everchange Hideout during the Valentines' events. She drops the Valentine Gift Set, which contains various Valentines' themed items/equipment/quest items, including Valentine Tokens needed for the Valentines' shop.

Notes

• Upon showing the Torn Scroll to Danae (the next time you visit her after defeating her for the first time and picking up the scroll), she will no longer be wary of you in the Everchange Hideout.
  • Fulfilling Danae's requests (gold, dye... [info missing]) during Valentines will allow you to become friends with her and earn the trophy Make Love, Not War. At this point, her dialogue changes to a more friendly tone, and you can still defeat her as a boss by selecting the "Let's fight!" option. She will also have something extra to say back at East Beach.
