Thanksgiving

In mid to late November, Thanksgiving occurs within the game, rapidly increasing the turkey populations you see in the game all around Saliko, particularly the meadows and the forest outskirts. Defeat enough turkeys, and you might just reward yourself with a fancy turkey pet that you can say bawk to!

Event Details

Several turkeys will spawn around Saliko. Defeating them will likely yield one feather per turkey (you can still find the two turkeys that drop more than one feather!). In addition, they have a chance to drop a Freckled Egg, which upon use will give you a turkey as a pet. You may still collect 250 feathers if you wish and exchange them to Andy for a Freckled Egg, if you're unlucky!

Defeating a turkey will begin the Turkey Chaser buff that lasts 30 seconds. The more turkeys you defeat, the higher number of stacks this buff accumulates. Starting at certain stacks, such as 10 will display a "Turkey Slayer" popup, and 20 will also show a "Turkey Slayer" popup but with the turkey wearing a bucket as a helmet. Defeating many of them while maintaining the buff will cause you to reach "Turkey Destroyer", and reward you with the trophy A Wild Turkey Chase.

The trick is to save at least one or two turkeys in the maps before approaching a dead-end part of Saliko to look for more of them. This way, if you run all the way to that dead-end spot and find none of them, you can always then run back quickly to the turkeys that you've spared to extend the buff. It also helps having equipment that increases walking speed, Sugar Rush from eating sugary foods and Blessing of Speed.

Players can also go to Coren, the trader in the Small Cave in the High Plains for a quest. The quest will ask for some feathers, as well as some other materials. Upon completing the quest will net you a special event hat.

Henriette Gravy

Tired of being chased around, the farm's pride, Henriette, decided to turn the tables and attacks whoever dares coming too close. It is up to you to cut that overzealous poultry down to size!

Henriette Strikes Bawk is a world event that randomly appears during Thanksgiving. It is the only time when Henriette Gravy appears, and always spawns in Jack's Farmhouse. The world event lasts 20 minutes, but you are scaled to level 9 (with a recommended level of 7 to 9). Upon completing the event will reward you with a max of 825 exp, as well as 50 silver.

Henriette has 13,500 health, which is troubling for many players being scaled down to level 9 due to their low damage dealt. It gives 500 in base experience upon being defeated, and will always drop a Pilgrim's Hat. Like any other turkey, it has a low chance to drop a Fancy Bow, and/or a Freckled Egg.

Henriette also has some skills it can use to annoy players. One of which is Wing Flap, which knocks back players by a large distance. It can also summon in turkeys with higher health than usual to inflict additional damage to unsuspecting players. The player that gets too close will be targeted by Henriette's Pecking Frenzy, which deals damage multiple times and cause back to back hitstun, making the targeted player difficult to escape from it.
