Skills are a collection of abilities that help the player progress through the game. They represent a character class's defining characteristics and determine how a particular class can be used.
By default, every class has a set of General Skills, as well as their Class Skills. Additionally, Extra Ability skills may be obtained though spirit bottle effects.
Skills have a property known as Levels. The usefulness of a skill of a skill increases as Level increases. ---For example, the skill Bite will deal more damage at level 2 than at level 1. Skill level can be increased by distributing Skill Points, with one Skill Point being obtained per Level Up.
Each class has their own kind of skills:
Warriors have two kinds of Class Skills- Combat and Defense.
Priests have three kinds of Class Skills- Restoration, Toxicology, and Magic.
Hunters have three kinds of Class Skills- Close Combat, Ranged Combat, and Traps.
Mages have five kinds of Class Skills- Fire, Earth, Ice, Wind, and Arcane.
