NPC: Lenore

Lenore is a NPC in Cave to Midnight Mountain II. She later relocates to Deep inside Midnight Mountain after completing the quest First Treasures, and relocates again to The Cave to Elyssia after the events of On to Midnight Mountain.

For reasons unknown, she is a Undead and has the title of Zombie Dog. It is likely due to her appearance, as she has multiple scratches and stitches on her after surviving both a cave collapse and a fall.

Background

Lenore is a alchemy student from one of the unknown schools in Ashaya Village. Lenore, along with Kiu, made a dare with a fellow student at school to bring back one of the amethyst rocks from the caves in Midnight Mountain. Kiu had also brought her pet lizard Hope to them as they ventured into the cave. Unbeknownst to them, an avalanche occurred on the mountain, destroying the bridge and separating the three of them as boulders collapsed onto the entrance. Kiu was able to escape outside unharmed but with Hope missing and still inside the cave somewhere. Lenore fell moments before the cave entrance collapsed, wounding her, but she was able to treat herself and venture further into the cave.

When the player first meets her in Cave to Midnight Mountain II, she pays no attention to finding a way out, but instead spends her time searching around the cave for minerals and ingredients to bring back to her alchemy class.
