Over the course of February, Valentine's is made up of many different smaller events and event quest lines. These events are spread across each village, offering unique experiences to those who wish to participate in them. All (if not most) of the events to look out for are covered below.

Saliko Village

Saliko Village offers a variety of one-time beginner event quests aimed at lower level players. Once you complete them, there isn't much left to do in this village. You can also collect a Praline Box from one of the NPC's every hour per character.

• Sandra's quest line involving the sudden disappearance of flowers from her garden will yield you an untradeable Huge Carrot.

• Jianna's quest line involving collecting scattered envelopes will yield you some Valentine's tokens which can be redeemed at the shop in Ashaya Village.

• Ervin's quest line about a love potion will yield Valentine's tokens in the process. However, this quest line will take you to face Goldsnare in the Moonlight Monastery, located in Argan Jungle. Finally, you'll have to face Danae (a repeatable boss that you can face daily for valentine's boxes, quest items and tokens) in the Everchange Hideout (the dead end place in the Everchange Caverns).
  • Furthermore, by picking up a quest item from defeating Danae and with the proper dialogue selections, you can "befriend" Danae for the trophy Make Love, Not War.

In addition, Saliko will start spawning pink colored fliffies in addition to the regular colored ones. These pink fliffies can be turned into a pet of their own. A special fliffy called Champagne can be found, and ultimately captured with a Huge Carrot.

Ashaya Village

Ashaya Village doesn't offer as much quests as Saliko Village does. Jasmine, right beside Kay sells Valentine items for tokens.

• Andy's quest line will ask for your support in a date with Jasmine. This involves a brief event occuring in the Toy Factory to retrieve Andy's gold coins as well as the use of the Cooking skill.
• The Valentine Gift Box has a low chance to give a Valentine Rocket mount, which acts like a Broomstick mount. Riding in it allows you to float off from high platforms, preventing fall damage. What makes this mount different is that other players can use your mount, as long as they are in a group with you. If a pit exists in the map, the mount won't be able to survive the drop.
  • The rocket binds upon use, allowing it to be given to other players or sold on the Auction House beforehand.

Blackwood Caverns

On the way to Blackwood Caverns, there is a quest line with Yvi (the spirit with the tent) that makes you retrace your steps to the Temple of Trials, Saliko, the Southern Seas, and the Moonlight Monastery (in the maps west of Goldsnare and facing a scaled hard mode of Terechia). This eventually leads to the Hallow's End quests, in which you unlock Darneus as a potential boss to face in the Cursed Farm dungeon. Furthermore, defeating Darneus will lead you to a choice of two items; the letter obtained in the area you travelled with Danae will result in a good ending, while the ring will result in a bad ending (in which you may have to repeat all over again).

In the Blackwood Caverns, there are two things that you can do. The first event pays attention to the Flower Festival which is held after you help them prepare for it, which the map is surrounded in petals and a petal cannon is placed in the caverns. More is described below:

• By helping deal with the problems surrounding the petal cannon that is delaying the Flower Festival, which the quest line is started by Laurel or Nicole, it will reward you with a bluebell carriage. This causes you to have to go into a special instance of the Blackwood Blast Mine, with thieves that surround the bottom of the map as well as the cannon. Also, you'll have to travel to the Tunnels of Illusion mid-point to meet Elly as part of the quest line.
  • In order to obtain a petal cannon for your carriage, you have to be lucky and obtain a Petal Blaster schematic from the Valentine gift boxes (either sold in Jasmine's shop or acquired through defeating Danae). Then you'll have to go to Nicole to accept her quest and acquire some materials for her, one of which are frozen petals (found by killing lizards in Crystal Crypt).

• You have to have acquired one piece of a special leather quest item (from Danae) in order to obtain a quest line with Audrey. Obtaining more of the leather and acquiring special metal from the fire sprites in the Blackwood Blast Mine (dropping metal scraps to them so that they pick it up and defeating them without letting them explode). This will reward you with a hot air balloon.

Notes

• The carriage mount can be summoned in mid-air, saving you from fall damage and immediately returning you to your last known platform you were on in the map (while in the carriage). Dismounting from the carriage temporarily puts your character into the spot where you should've fell onto, and moving a little or sitting will return you back to the previous platform.
  • The carriage cannot be used alongside any other deployable mount. It can still be used alongside the lizard pet mount.
• The hot air balloon mount allows you and other players in the same group to ride in it (you and someone else only). The hot air balloon is best known for vertical transportation in some maps (reaching upper ledges without having to walk around), and allows you and someone else to return to their last visited village. You cannot move around in a hot-air balloon, only change the direction it's facing.
  • You can bring hot air balloons into indoor maps as long as the balloon is directly on the portal, you riding it and holding up to go into the portal. Hot air balloons can also ascend higher if the platform above you can easily be reached, then by pressing the W or Up key.
