The welcome zombie is located in the Deep Mines, far east of Saliko Village.
Some players just press the "right" arrow key for five minutes, and wait to see what happens. Eventually they end up as a level 1 in the East Caves, where they will usually be welcomed by a level 8 undead mine worker that knocks them out in four swings - hence the name "Welcome Zombie".
