You can file a support ticket with anything you remember about your old account, and we'll look into it. It helps using the same computer that you used to play your old character, too. ;P
PS.: If you're told that you got disconnected when you try to login, there is a chance you exhausted the maximum number of login attempts. In that case just try again in later (best to play it safe and make it an hour or so - 'probing' to see whether you can try again does actually extend the time before you can).
