4th of July

The 4th of July celebrations, otherwise known as Independence Day in the United States is an event that takes place in Ashaya Village. Players can travel to the top of Galepeak to watch a fireworks show take place (although not as big as New Years!). If not, they can witness the fireworks at a distance in the map before entering the Cave to Midnight Mountain.

Event Details

At the top of Galepeak, several friendly bats roam around the top-left cliff of the map, with no hostile monsters in sight. Players can ride these bats to float in the sky for a better view of the fireworks that are happening. It occurs at 11 PM in-game time (which can be viewed by using the /time command) until midnight. The fireworks show occurs more than once, until the day ends at midnight.

There is an event quest that involves taking down Ihgard in the Galepeak Caverns that can be entered by going to the top of Galepeak, and heading to the passage leading inside the mountain. Completing this will reward you with a special hat to celebrate the event. Another quest will reward a special Independence Day tabard.
