Adds a frigid chill to your Mist of Ice spell, causing any target that stands in it for longer than 3 seconds to take damage equal to a percentage of your magic attack every 1.5 seconds.

Required Class Mage
Skill Branch Ice
Available at Level 20
Prerequisites Frigid Splash Lv. 1
Range N/A
Cooldown N/A

Skill Usage

A passive skill that improves on the existing Mist of Ice skill, allowing it to damage enemies who stay in it for a long time. The affected targets take on Hypothermia, dealing up to 25% of your magic as water element damage over time. This effect can stack up to a maximum of four times, causing targets to be hurt for a whopping 100% of your magic every 1.5 seconds.

A typical Mist of Ice will last for up to a minute, allowing enough time for the DoT to kick in and deal a lot of damage, as long as the enemy doesn't move out of it.

Notes

  • The Hypothermia effect from Intense Cold will slowly add it's stacks onto a target standing in the Mist of Ice, after a few seconds have passed. This also means that if a target leaves the mist while it has all four stacks of Hypothermia, it will still deal damage to it for a couple of seconds and then dissipate.
