Skill Usage

Dispel Magic (shortened as dispel) is a situational skill that allows you to remove a magic debuff (red box outlined in blue) from a friendly target, or remove a magic buff (green box outlined in blue) from a hostile target depending on who you use the skill on. Against few monsters, this skill is necessary to counter their debuffs placed on allies.

For instance, a Emeraldfang (from Depths) uses Emerald Cut, which can be stacked up to three times on a ally to prevent Priests from healing them. Dispel can make use of the situation by removing one stack of the debuff so that the ally can then be healed again.
