Kiu is a NPC in The Cave to Midnight Mountain. She was separated from her friend Lenore and her pet lizard Hope after an avalanche caused the cave entrance to collapse.
Background
Kiu is a alchemy student from a school in Ashaya Village. Kiu, along with Lenore, made a dare with a fellow student at school to bring back one of the amethyst rocks from the caves in Midnight Mountain. Kiu had also brought her pet lizard Hope to them as they ventured into the cave.
