Kiu is a NPC in The Cave to Midnight Mountain. She later relocates to Deep inside Midnight Mountain after completing the quest First Treasures, and relocates again to The Cave to Elyssia after the events of On to Midnight Mountain.

Background

Kiu is a alchemy student from an unknown school in Ashaya Village. Kiu, along with Lenore, made a dare with a fellow student at school to bring back one of the amethyst rocks from the caves in Midnight Mountain. Kiu had also brought her pet lizard Hope to them as they ventured into the cave. Unbeknownst to them, an avalanche occurred on the mountain, destroying the bridge and separating the three of them as boulders collapsed onto the entrance. Kiu was able to escape outside unharmed but with Hope missing and still inside the cave somewhere. Lenore fell moments before the cave entrance collapsed, wounding her, but she was able to treat herself and venture further into the cave.
