Teams are randomly chosen (based on ratings). Tvt can take 15 minutes, unless your reinforcements run out!. you start out with 80 reinforcements, and every time you die your reinforcements go down by 2 which means if your teammates and yourself die 40 times you lose. Even if there is time left on the clock. The object of Tvt is to break the ancient relic and own the castle at the end. In order to get to the relic you have to break down doors that block your way, and fight other players in order to reach it. Only the strongest of your levels will survive! Player versus Player (PvP) refers to combat between players. On regular maps, PvP combat is disabled, so players cannot attack each other there.

To battle against other players, you have three options:

  • The Castle of Schwartzwald is always enabled for PvP. No experience will be given for player knockouts.
  • Once you reach Level 10 or higher, you can queue for battlegrounds. In some battlegrounds it's everyone for themselves, whereas in others you will fight in a team (against the other team). In battlegrounds, you receive small experience bonuses for defeating other players.
  • Finally, Guild versus Guild battles occur twice a week: once on Tuesday, and once on Saturday, at 6:20 ET after the Battle for Schwartzwald Castle.

Notes

  • While you are in PvP, your armor will not take any damage if you get knocked out.
  • While in PvP, some of area spells are re-coloured, based on who casted them. Spells that have a red hue to them are casted by someone hostile to you. For example, a blizzard cast by a hostile player will look red-ish, meaning you will take take damage from standing in it. If the blizzard is white, it was cast by your team, and is safe.
  • Battleground rewards are participation based. You will receive tokens even if you lose, as long as you tried. Likewise, if someone does not participate, it can well happen that even if they win, they receive fewer tokens than someone who lost, but participated.
