Instantly generates 35 Fury, but reduces your defence by 15% for six seconds. Use for a boost of rage if you can deal with reduced defence.

Required Class Warrior
Skill Branch Combat
Available at Level 1
Prerequisites Slash Lv. 1
Range Self
Cooldown 1 minute

Skill Usage

Adrenaline Rush allows you to recover some of your fury immediately, allowing you to automatically use certain skills off the bat. The downside is, it reduces your defence, leaving you to take more damage if an enemy casts a deadly spell during that six second period.

Not many Warriors will be able to use Adrenaline Rush in cases where it really counts because you are given a limited window of opportunity to be able to recognize and click both skills. For instance, having 0 Fury for Smite while an enemy is casting a deadly spell. You are more likely to forget having the skill in the midst of battle, or realize it too late and click Adrenaline Rush but not Smite as well. If you are able to time for both abilities effectively, then that will help your group, though the preferred method is always just to save enough Fury for a Smite while building it up through auto-attacking.

Otherwise, it allows you to use skills such as Charge (while Battle Cry is on cooldown) and Pounce (wastes exactly 35 Fury, but you have to be quick before your fury goes down) as a gimmick outside of battle.

Notes

  • For Tank Warriors who wish to include this skill into their build, adding points into Endurance will cancel out the defense loss effect from Adrenaline Rush, allowing you to fully take advantage of it without worrying about taking more damage. The only problem that remains is the hefty cooldown of 1 minute.
