Skill Usage
Fire Bolt is a skill favored among mages, typically against earth element monsters. Because of it's elemental advantage and frequent earth element monsters in the starting areas of Saliko, it continues to serve very well in areas not being the Kingdom of Elyssia or the Southern Seas. It is less effective against fire and water element monsters.
Fire Bolt is automatically learned at level 1 by default for Mages and cannot be removed by a skill reset.
Fire Bolt benefits from the increase in damage provided by Infernal Heat. It is often used together with Fire Wall against stationary monsters or bosses for a significant increase in damage output.

Fire Bolt can be used together with various benefits from charms.
- Fire Bolt is capable of refreshing the duration of Embers on a target, reducing the need for having to cast Embers on the target unless it expires, or for refreshing the Pyromaniac buff (slightly increases the casting speed of spells). The effect of Embers on a target can then be used to cast Ignite on the target once every 7 seconds, dealing damage and restoring mana at the same time. The Charm of Eternal Flame that gives this effect can be obtained from either Gorath or Goldsnare in the Moonlight Monastery dungeon located within Argan Jungle.
