Surge of Light
A fast but expensive spell that recovers slightly more than your regular heal. Use this spell if you need to quickly recover a lot of health when Heal would not be fast enough, and you can take the extra mana cost.

Skill Usage
Surge of Light is a spell that relies on the current level of Heal to determine how much it will heal for, similar to Bond of Healing. This spell is remarkably similar to the regular Heal, but has a faster casting time and heals slightly more. It is used when an ally is at a dangerously low amount of health while an monster is about to knock them out, where Heal would not be able to save them in time. It tends to be a more popular spell than Emerald Shield, sacrificing damage absorption over quick reaction healing. It can also damage Demons, Undead, and/or dark element targets without penalty to the damage dealt.
Unlike Heal, it has a 1.2 second cast time, at the expense of more mana being consumed. It shares the same mana cost as Emerald Shield, meaning that you should not use it more than Heal itself.
Notes
- Surge of Light costs 60% more mana than a standard Heal, making it unreliable for constant use, but worth it in sparing situations.
