Shattering Strike
Delivers a shattering strike to the enemy, dealing minor damage and sundering their armour, causing them to take additional damage for one minute. Effectiveness increases by level. Use to keep single monsters from attacking your friends.

Skill Usage
An important skill for tanking Warriors that generates a large volume of hate (depending on skill level) against the enemy. In addition, Shattering Strike can cause the enemy to suffer up to 5% more damage for 1 minute. Consumes 35 Fury.
Often using Shattering Strike will ensure that the monster you targeted will not switch to attack any of your allies, but may drain your fury too quickly. Make sure that you pace yourself when using the skill, so you still have enough fury for anti-spell skills like Smite or Bash. Can be used together with Taunt, Growl and Defensive Stance for maximum hate generation.
Notes
- Shattering Strike will cap out at 5% additional damage to the enemy at Lv. 3 of the skill.
- Shattering Strike inflicts only 25% of your regular damage to the enemy. Recommended that you should not spam the skill too much throughout the fight, so that you can deal more damage through your auto-attack.
Level
- The skill level plays a significant difference in the amount of hate you can accumulate. Shattering Strike at Lv. 3 will be less effective at getting a monster's attention than at Lv. 7.
