Skill Usage
Holy Fire is a damage over time spell that inflicts light damage every three seconds to a single target. Consuming a moderate amount of mana, the spell can be quite costly to use, having to use it twice on the same target to affect other monsters. Priests may find the need to use this spell instead when Exorcise fails to work. The damage becomes very strong when used against dark element monsters. Combine with Judgement for great results, and keep Holy Fire going with Nourish.
Since the base damage of the spell is very weak, this spell cannot be used alone. Nourish is needed to raise the base damage of Holy Fire as well as keep the spell refreshed on the target at all times. The downside is, you can only keep several stacks of Holy Fire on one target at a time (since the spell only affects one target, and has a cooldown), but yielding powerful dps against that target specifically. The remaining targets will only have as much as one stack of Holy Fire on them.
Notes
- When points are added to Nourish, Holy Fire's low damage becomes the value of Nourish's base damage. For instance, with a Nourish at Lv. 5, the base damage of Holy Fire becomes 260-294 instead of 8-12.
- Unlike Exorcise, the spell can affect any type of target, rather than being restricted to Demons, Undead, Ghost and Dark types.
