Skill Usage

A curse spell that lowers the target's agility and movement speed, making them slower in battle. Players can take advantage of this by constantly keeping their distance away from the monster at ease, avoiding additional damage taken by their auto-attack and melee abilities.

In PvP (particularly Cheese Hunt), this spell can be used to slow players down, making them vulnerable to the player who is it, or for the person who is it to slow down one of their targets.

Notes

  • Curse of Slowness can dispel Blessing of Speed from speedy targets, dropping their movement speed considerably.
  • Certain pets like a Shooey can learn Curse of Slowness to slow down a target.
  • This spell stacks with other spells with slow effects, such as Spike Trap. Using both together would slow a target down immensely.
  • Certain bosses are not immune to this spell. This can be used to solo bosses that would otherwise be impossible.
