Skill Usage

An important buff spell that increases an ally's strength and intellect stats depending on their level (not your level) and the level of the skill itself. Strength increases physical damage which Warriors need, and Intellect, which both Priests and Mages want for magic.

When Dark Inspiration is used, an ally receives attack and magic by half of the increase towards strength and intellect. For example, by using Dark Inspiration (Lv. 2) on a level 30 Warrior, they will receive 15 attack and magic.

Notes

  • It is one of four buff spells (others include Blessing of Speed, Blessing of Fortitude and Elemental Ward) that priests with a buffing set will require to help out their group. Groups may find it difficult to tackle a dungeon or world boss, which is where buffs come in handy.
  • When Dark Pact is active, Inspiration becomes Dark Inspiration. Dark Inspiration increases Attack and Magic. Both Inspiration and Dark Inspiration's effects cannot be active at the same time.
