Skill Usage

Pounce is mostly overlooked as a gimmick skill for Warriors because of it's high cooldown and brief casting time that comes with it, allowing them to hop to platforms not within reach by jumping. It also serves a purpose as a movement skill as long as you have fury for it and in PvP, specifically Cheese Hunt.

When used properly, it's stun effect to nearby enemies may be able to interrupt casts from hostile monsters.

Notes

  • At level 33, Charm of Linked Souls drastically reduces Pounce's cooldown by 30 seconds (from 50 to 20 seconds), also allowing the use of it while airborne. Note that you must be near some sort of platform while airborne to successfully pounce to that location. Pounce also has a casting time associated with it, causing you to fall a couple of feet as you cast before eventually your character will leap onto that platform you selected. At level 1, Charm of Wrecking causes your character to automatically summon a Lv. 3 cast of Spike Trap at the selected location from your pounce. Has a use in PvP, specifically for the Cheese Hunt game mode.
  • Note that Pounce can be interrupted if you are hit while trying to charge up for a Pounce.
