Skill Usage
One of the main spells in a Priest's healing arsenal that recovers health slowly over time. Most beginner priests mistake this skill for a skill that heals a target in full immediately, instead of casting it on a single group member once every 10 to 12 seconds. It is used more commonly than Heal because of it's low mana cost.
Revitalise is automatically learned at level 1 by default for Priests and cannot be removed by a skill reset.
When used, it applies a 12 second buff onto your character, where health is restored every three seconds. Magic can increase the amount of health restored every three seconds, but is split along the number of times you are healed for within the duration of Revitalise. Revitalise is used alongside other Priest skills such as Healing Winds at level 36 to recover more health per target every three seconds.
Notes
- Charm of Rejuvenation can instantly restore health to your selected target by half of one periodic heal (a periodic heal is one heal between a three second period).
- Freya's Pendant and Living Emerald add an additional effect to Revitalise, allowing the skill to last for 6 more seconds on an ally if their health is under 50%.
- Revitalise can be combined with other Revitalise casts from other players, NPCs or your pet for a faster recovery.
Known Issues
- The Hivemender Spirit Bottle is known to interfere with your own Revitalise cast by replacing your Revitalise with it's own, resulting in a stronger heal being canceled by a weaker one. This is due to the fact that you are casting the skill by yourself (unwillingly because it has a chance to activate), and not receiving Revitalise from an outside source. This dilemma is caused as a result of preventing stronger Revitalise casts from being extended by weaker levels of itself.
