Swipe all enemies around you. Damage dealt is increased by your physical attack.

Skill Usage

It is the only skill for a Warrior that can deal considerable damage to multiple targets at once. As one of the Warrior's basic skills, it is excellent for taking out multiple weak monsters that you may run into. It consumes 25 Fury upon use, which is three times as cost efficient than a single use of Thrash on a target.

At later levels, it is almost necessary to have Swipe as part of your attack routine, to match up to a Mage's AoE cast, such as Fire Wall or Blizzard. Note that unlike an AoE where damage accumulates over time as enemies stand in it, Swipe only inflicts one hit, affecting targets that were close enough to receive contact with it.

Notes

• At level 35, Charm of Powerful Cleaves increases your Swipe's damage by 20%, as well as adding a knockback effect to it.

• Damage is calculated differently for Swipe. Your total physical attack is split evenly across each target that will be hit with Swipe, but each will receive the full amount in the skill's base damage. For example, if Swipe had a base damage of 200, you had a total physical attack of 100 and you were attacking two monsters with it, each monster would receive 50 (100 divided by 2 monsters) + 200 (the base damage itself) = 250 damage.

Level
